Protecting your orchard and yield
Cropshader Orchard is a bio-based, sprayable reflective coating that helps orchards protect their crops from heat stress and sunburn without investing in new infrastructure. Simply apply it with your existing sprayer to create a targeted layer of protection when extreme heat is forecast.
The fine reflective droplets deflect part of the incoming solar radiation, helping keep fruit and leaves around 3–5 °C cooler. The result: less sunburn and more fruit reaching high-value Class I cartons during the hottest weeks of the season.
Walnuts in Turkey
≈5.2 °C cooler nut surface temperature and ≈4.9 °C cooler leaves, with about 15% higher daytime photosynthetic activity in coated trees during hot conditions.

≈5 °C cooler fruit in Granny Smith at ≈35 °C air temperature in Turkey, with trials in France showing about 70% less advanced sunburn in Suntan and Elstar apples compared with untreated control, outperforming standard kaolin clay.
